Lake Havasu was formed by the creation of the Parker Dam between 1934 and 1938. The lake is about 41 miles long, covers over 20,000 surface acres, and separates California from Arizona.

Be prepared for temperatures in excess of 110 degrees in the peak summer months and water as warm as a spa. Many of the canyon walls can provide some degree of shade from the blistering summer sun, so keep an eye out for a cool spot to park your boat! Official Park Rules

Bordered by the Davis Dam just north of Laughlin, Lake Mohave is a 67 mile stretch of the Colorado River surrounded by colorful canyon walls and arid desert. This long thin body of water is not wider than 4 miles across at any given point, and part of the Lake Mead National Recreation Area.
